The Story of Enneagram Canada

Once upon a time, a small group of curious, passionate people found each other. What began as conversations, connections, and shared questions has grown into something much bigger: a national community built around the Enneagram. This is the story of how Enneagram Canada came to be—and the people who are helping guide the way.

Every story needs a beginning.

It started with conversations and connections. Along the way, I’ve met the most amazing people—but I can’t say I’m surprised. The Enneagram has a way of attracting beautiful souls.

Every story needs a spark.

For us, that was Jill Zimmer. Jill and I first met in our certification program, and we connected instantly. For the last two years, we’ve met every single week—working through course material, tackling client questions, debating theories, and pushing each other to grow. Jill was the very first person I told about the idea of creating Enneagram Canada. She agreed right away (though I’m not sure she knew I was serious at the time!). Now she knows. She’s been a steady cheerleader and anchor as we navigated incorporation, set up the affiliate, and began shaping this vision together.

Every story needs an artist.

That’s where Anna comes in. To this day, I can’t quite remember how Anna first appeared in our group, but I cannot imagine Enneagram Canada without her. She’s the gifted, artistic eye behind all of our branding, design, and our website. Anna approaches every detail with thoughtfulness and creativity, and her designs have given us a face and a feel that truly reflects who we are. Beyond her talent, Anna is a kind and welcoming soul. She shares deeply, supports fully, and lifts us up as we step into new challenges. Her presence is pure gift.

Every story needs an adventurer.

That’s how I think of Erin. When we first met, I believe her very first words were, “I’ve been waiting for an Enneagram community like this.” Erin jumped in wholeheartedly, quickly becoming our “anything and everything” officer. She keeps notes, manages our books, translates every piece of content into French, and somehow still finds time to dive deep into her passions: the Enneagram, astrology, politics, and everything in between. Her energy is contagious and her enthusiasm is inspiring, she has big things on the horizon and we can't wait to see them come to be.

Every story needs a steady hand.

That’s the role Marlene plays so beautifully. Marlene is our grounded support—the one you know is always in your corner. Her help arrives exactly when it’s needed and in exactly the right way. Every offer she makes is real, trustworthy, and complete. She’s the quiet strength in the background, the one who shows up before you even know you need her. Her presence reminds us that this work is sustainable because we are not doing it alone.

Every story needs a dreamer.

I’m Tam Kroeker, the one who pressed send on the first inquiry to form an Enneagram Canada . I wanted to be part of something bigger and as an Enneagram 9, believe I could do something bigger. I wanted to see and honour the contributions of the Canadian Enneagram community and collaborate with amazing people doing incredible things. For me, this board has become more than a leadership team—it’s become a community. I’m honoured to walk alongside these incredible people and excited to see what grows from here.

This board is just the beginning. Whether you’ve signed our official incorporation documents or simply joined us on a call, sent an email, or connected on social media—you’re part of this story too. Every single interaction fuels this work. We see you, we’re grateful for you, and we need you.

What started as an idea has become a shared vision, and I’m so grateful to be on this journey with all of you. This story is only getting started—and I can’t wait to see where it goes, with you in it.
